With 25 years of international experience in manufacturing (automotive, pharma) and financial services (insurance, banking) through Europe and Switzerland, Christophe Makni drives digital & AI transformations through data-driven innovation and human-centered leadership, while also sharing his expertise as a university lecturer.

Christophe is currently leading Data, Automation and AI/GenAI initiatives at a large retail Swiss Bank.

His key focus areas are:

Christophe has been holding different management positions at important Swiss Banks (a large cantonal bank, an international private bank, and now a large national retail bank)

Christophe holds an engineering Degree from the French Engineering School ENSIMAG in Grenoble and a Computer Science Master Degree from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany, where he specialized in Machine Learning and Robotics. His research work focused on humanoid robots.

Christophe never completely left academia – he currently teaches Lean Management, Innovation,AI Management and AI Leadership at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland and is a guest lecturer at the most prestigious Swiss Universities (incl. ETH and HSG).

Christophe also shares his learnings and is an international keynote speaker on Leadership and Artificial Intelligence.
